PET Engineering College in association with Indian Society of Systems for Science & Engineering (ISSE) Kanniyakumari Chapter organized a seminar on "ADVANCES IN SYSTEMS ENGINEERING APPROACH" on 16.09.2023 (Saturday) through Hybrid mode. The welcome address was given by Dr. Madhan Kumar K, Principal, PET Engineering College and the Inaugural address was delivered by Mr. K. Velmurugan (our college Alumni – 2005 Batch), Treasurer, ISSE-KKC, Dy. Division Head, ISRO Propulsion Complex. The first and the second session was conducted by Mrs. S. Rasathi and Mr. Surya Prakash Singh, Executive Members, ISSE-KKC/Scientist/Engineer, ISRO Propulsion Complex and the third session was given by Mrs. C. Rekha, HOD/ECE, PET Engineering College. They explained about the Space tourism, International space station and Transportation Systems for Human – System Engineering approach. Mrs. Rasathi in her video presentation explored into the mysteries and wonders of space and also give an idea on space transportation. Mr. Surya Prakash delved deeply into the technical nuances of aerospace system, radiography and the multifold development of non-destructive testing. The seminar provoked great ideas and laid a foundation on Interference suppression in MIMO Antenna systems and our students got ideas related to further studies in various fields of space. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. S. Babu Renga Rajan, HOD/CSE, PET Engineering College. Students, HoDs, faculty from various departments participated in this seminar and enriched their knowledge about advanced technology in systems Engineering. The Higher officials of ISRO also joined in this seminar through online mode. The arrangements for the seminar was done by, Mrs. T. Agnes Ramena, AP/ECE. This seminar was an eye-opener and it enlightened the young minds. |
