The PET Engineering College celebrated a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of the FACEAT & P-PETEC Students Chapter for the academic year 2023-24, held on 12/10/2023, along with accompanying technical seminars. The event, marked by an atmosphere of knowledge and collaboration, was honored by the presence of Er. T. Rajesh Tamilrasan, State President, FACEATP, as the Chief Guest. Esteemed guests of honor included Er. K. Essakiyappan, Secretary, Region X, FACEAT & P , and Er. S. Vijiyapandi, the President of TiruCEA The occasion was further distinguished by the felicitations from Mr. Shahul Hameed, Managing Trustee, Mr. S. Khaja Mohideen, Secretary, and Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen, Treasurer of the PET Group of Institutions. Additionally, Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, Principal, delivered an insightful Presidential Address. Mr. T. M. Mohamed Usman, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, warmly welcomed the gathering.
A series of technical talks were delivered by Er. S. K. Syed Ahamed, Er. Mohamed Usman, and Er. E. Paulanna, providing valuable insights into various engineering disciplines. A special video, crafted by third-year student Mohamed Kani, highlighted the history and impact of civil engineering, adding a unique touch to the event.
