The 7th International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering, Management and Applications (ICETEMA- 2K23) was held on 16th August 2023 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. It was organized by CSE, ECE, EEE, MECH, MBA and MCA Departments. Ms. Sivasankari, of Third year Computer Science Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. K. Madhan Kumar, the Principal of the college delivered the presidential address. He congratulated the staff and students for organizing the conference in a beneficial manner and asked the delegates to present their projects and to estimate their own research findings and presentation. He promoted the students to obtain novelty and update their ideas by taking part in such conferences. He emphasized that such conferences ignite the young minds and enables one to pursue higher studies. Ms. Gayathri, of Third Year ECE introduced the chief guest to the audience. Dr. T. Arumuga Maria Devi, Assistant Professor, Center for Information Technology & Engineering was the chief guest for the conference. In her Special address she remarked that technology is inter connected and gave an insight on the current trends in Engineering focusing on AI, Robotics, Machine Learning, software Management and deep learning. The Resource Person also chaired the different technical sessions. The secretary Mr. S. Kaja Mohideen felicitated the gathering. The proceedings of the conference was released by the management team and the first copy was received by the chief guest. The Managing Trustee Mr. A. Shahul Hameed, Secretary Mr. S. Khaja Mohaideen, Treasurer Mr. S. M. Jamaludeen graced the event. A Total of 100 papers were received and nearly 200 Participants including Research Scholars and PG Students from various colleges participated in the conference and presented papers. The Principal distributed the certificates to the Participants and presented the Best Paper award. Mr. Sheik Parvees Mahim of final year EEE student proposed the vote of thanks. |
