A Career guidance program was conducted for Mechanical students on 09/10/2023 on the topic Industrial Expectation from an Engineer by Training and Placement Cell of PET Engineering College. Mrs. Bagavathy Lakshmi Ammal HOD/English delivered the welcome address. Thiru. S. Babu Rengarajan, HOD/CSE, presided over the program . Mr. P. Esakiappan (Aluninus 2015 Batch) Assistant Manager TAFE Madurai and Ms. G. Siva Sakthi Deputy Manager, HR, TAFE Madurai were the guests of honour Mr. P. Esakiappan, gave an overview of the organization. He also gave an insight on the major functions of an organization. Further he elucidated on the different ways to face the challenges in an industry and also the industrial expectation from an engineer.
Mrs. Sivasakthi, detailed on the recruitment procedure and rules and regulations of TAFE, Madurai. The program was coordinated by Mr. S. Mohammed Peer Matharsha AP/Mechanical, placement officer of PET Engineering College.
