A one day workshop was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 26th Sep 2023 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. Dr. S. Babu Renga Rajan, head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering presided over the program. Ms. M. Elza Melif, Assistant Professor / CSE welcomed and gave the introduction about resource person an handed over the session to the resource person. Dr. D. Kesavaraja, Associate Professor / CSE, Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering, Tiuchendur. He delivered guest lecture on the topic "Machine Learning using Python" through power point presentation and hands on session in online mode.
The Faculty and students of Computer Science and Engineering participated in the workshop. Dr.I. Vallirathi, Assistant Professor / CSE proposed the vote of thanks. The workshop proved to be a success with the co-ordination of faculty of Computer Science and Engineering.
Program Objective
- To enhance the learning and research skills of the participants.
- To make them aware of modern analytical tools and methodologies provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge about current technological developments in relevant fields
Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students were able to:
- The participants would gain experience on how to work with python in machine learning with case studies related to them
- Faculty would gain more knowledge between learning and regression algorithms.
