Training Programmes:

• IEC Abroad (International Educational Consultancy) conducted an awareness programme on higher studies abroad to our final year students of ECE, EEE, CSE and IT on 19th August 2010.


• Project cum Training motivation program was conducted by Hewlett-Packard Trainer Mr. Ramkumar, Chennai on 25th August 2010 to Final year students of ECE, EEE, CSE and IT.


• The Placement cell conducted a “Campus Recruitment Training Programme” on 26/08/10, 27/08/10, 13/09/10, 14/09/10, 21/09/10 and 22/09/10 for the final year students of all branches by T.I.M.E Institute, Tirunelveli.


• 22nd October 2010, HCL Territory manager – Institutional Alliance, Mr. Sathish Kumar delivered a speech to the first years and their parents about K2Academy.


• Our faculty members conducted two days “Technical Aptitude Training” to the student who have up to two arrears in all department except MBA and ME on 27th and 28th September 2010.


• ISTD Students’ Cell was inaugurated by Mr. Ganesh, Manager – Admin, DCW on 29th October 2010. Mr. Paramasivam, Deputy Manager – Stores, DCW delivered a lecture about consumer awareness.


• Mr. Muruganantham, Manager, Hexavarsity, Chennai delivered a Guest Lecture on “Java” for the final year students of CSE, IT and MCA on Oct 14th 2010.


• HCL – K2 Academy was inaugurated by Mr. Srinivas Chakravarthy, Zonal Manager, HCL Infosystems on 18/10/2010.


• Mr. Ganesh Manager (Admin), DCW, Sahupuram and Mr. Shiva, Manager, DCW, Sahupuram conducted one day workshop on “Interview Techniques and Mock Interview” for final year students of ISTD members on 19/10/2010.


• Mr. Justin Surendran, Head HR of Intelligraph Solutions delivered a speech for MBA first year students on 28th December 2010.


• HCL K2 Academy Training programme was arranged for our first year students of CSE, IT and ECE during 31st January 2011 to 09th February 2011.


• HP Softskills training Programme was arranged for the first year students of EEE, Mechanical and MCA during the period of 31st January 2011 to 7th February 2011.


• Shriram Values Pvt Ltd, “Campus Learning Programme” was conducted for the first year MBA students on February 7th to February 10th 2011.


• Mr. Ganesh, Manager (Admin) DCW, Sahupuram conducted one workshop for first year MBA students on “Personality Development & Motivation” on 11/12/2011.

Placement Activities:

• SVCE, Puliangudi, conducted a job fair on January 22nd and 23rd by various BPO companies. Our students were participated.


• HCL Technologies conducted on campus recruitment at our college on 24th January 2011. 9 Students were selected.


• ICTACT conducted a pooled campus interview at Einstein Engineering College on 25th January 2011. 115 students from our college were participated.


• Gplast Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore conducted an on campus recruitment at our campus on 27th January 2011. They have selected 5 candidates from Mechanical Department and 3 Candidates from EEE Department.


• 29th January 2011, pooled campus recruitment held at our campus by Indus Tesqite Pvt. Ltd, Chennai. 450 students were participated the drive.


• Our students were participated the off-campus interview held at GCE, Tirunelvei by Zoho Development Centre, Chennai on 09th February 2011.


• Our students were participated the off-campus interview held at GCE, Tirunelvei by Titan Industries, Hosur on 10th February 2011.


• 19th February 2011, on-campus recruitment held at our campus by Piramid Communcations Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. 130 students were participated the drive. They have selected 18 students.


• 01st and 02nd of March 2011, pooled campus recruitment held at our campus by Shriram Finance Company Ltd, Mumbai. 400 students were participated this drive. They shortlisted 4 candidates for final interview.


• 12th February 2011, off-campus recruitment held at our campus by Suresoft Systems, Pondichery. 80 students were participated the drive. They have shortlisted only one candidate.
