Parent-Teacher meeting was conducted on 7th January 2012 at PET Engineering College, Vallioor. The Principal Dr.A.Syed Abu Thaheer presided over the meeting and in his address he said that the parents have chosen the right college for their wards and added that PET Engineering College is the first in South India to introduce a job-guaranteed MCTS Certificate under the steermanship of Dr.Vijayalakshmi the Convenor of Microsoft Company. It is a golden opportunity for the students because it enables them to get international certification and recognition.

Prof.S. Abubucker, Dean, Dr.Vijayalakshmi, Convenor of Microsoft Company, Heads of Science and Humanities Department, staff members and parents were present. Prof. R.Shanthi,HOD of English Department delivered the welcome address. The Dean Prof. S. Abubucker in his address pointed out that the College aims at providing good placement to the students and emphasized the support needed from the parents to bring out the hidden talents and make them achieve remarkable result in the University Examination.

Dr.Vijayalakshmi expressed her satisfaction towards the infrastructure facilities of the institution and the teaching that is imparted to the students by well-qualified, dedicated and experienced staff members. She requested the parents to ensure peaceful atmosphere to their wards at home, to maintain good relationship with the teachers by frequently visiting the College and insisted to spend more time with their children. Prof. S. Mookan, HOD Of Mathematics Department delivered vote of thanks and the meeting ended with National Anthem
